Over 100 people die in Oregon every day. More people die because they are obese than any other condition. Obesity and COVID will most likely be a recipe for death. Why don't we require people to maintain a healthy body weight.

Yes extend it indefinitely. There should be no mandate.

There shouldn't be a mandate at all, forcing people to inject foreign substances into their bodies. Especially considering a virus that has a 99% survival rate where 80% of the people that get it don't even know they have it or barely feel symptoms.

The mandates actually should be eliminated permanently.

The majority of people who are going to vote “yes” are the same people that will refuse it all the same, as they have since it was initially rolled out. Rip the band aid off.

Isn't the answer obvious. Get vaccinated to drastically reduce your chances of getting Covid.

What are they dying of, it certainly isn't COVID. We have only had 4 or 5 people die with COVID in the last month in Deschutes County.

I don't see the point in delaying it. The people for whom the mandate applies have had ample time to get it.

This is simple. Are you (News 21) empowering people to feel comfortable in not taking the vaccine? Allowing them to further to put our community and country in a state of directly killing me, my family and themselves? You, as a news agency providing true information should be honest.

Exec branch has the responsibility to manage the economy with other countries, congress can’t even produce an annual budget - look at this democrat shutdown, they want to spend another 1.5T on healthcare subsidies- sorry, we are in the hole $35T, wake up America.

Congress has the power of the purse, if only they would use it. but they're too scared of being primaried by him. Of course, he should not have 1/3 of the powers he has adopted, whether constitutional or not. He's an abomination!!

Trump’s tariffs violate the constitution. Congress holds the nations purse strings. I can’t believe we hardly heard a peep from members of Congress on his actions. Spineless

Absolutely not. The Constitution gives that authority to Congress, NOT the executive branch of the government. Trump’s actions are absolutely illegal and unconstitutional. But he doesn’t care, and has been giving Congress and the American People the finger for the past 10 months.

Memo to trump...there is a document in this country called the Constitution. Read it, learn it, live it.
