Yes, the Omicron is nothing more than a cold, so tired of the lame fear mongering and 60% or so over inflated hospitalization # Look at the numbers 8,000 plus case and 13 deaths and half of those were likely admitted for something else but then tested positive in the hospital. Time to shut up & live

They are safe for me. I don’t go to sporting events; anyway, large ones!

I see someone is claiming that 12,000 children have died of COVID. This is false and statements like this are harmful because some fools out there will believe this tripe. The actual pediatric deaths as of 1/12/2022 are 841 according to the CDC. Look it up if you doubt me.

Kids don't always survive Covid, and even those who do can spread it to anyone they are near while infectious. Omicron affects kids much more than previous variants and Covid will continue to mutate. Too many people will die until enough Americans take it seriously.

Many of my students display addictive behaviors regarding their phones, and it has proven detrimental to their learning and social development. Any positive of cell phone use is vastly outweighed by negative consequences.

Long overdue. Students need to focus on being educated in school, not watching videos, playing games, & chatting with each other. Educators and others do not need the distraction that cell cause. If there are emergencies that students need to know about there are other ways for them to find out.

My teaching friends say it's been a battle to keep kids off their phones in class and wastes a bunch of class time time addressing this. How will this be enforced any differently though?
