TY Gov Brown. Wearing a mask isn't a political statement, it's an IQ test. The sooner we all wear one, the sooner we get back to normal. BOYCOTTING Sunriver; not a single mask there but COVID is !!!

People should be masking because they're decent human beings but too many still aren't. Unfortunately it has to be enforced. Thank you Governor Brown.

You bet. Everyone has a responsibility to protect themselves and others. It's a no-brainer. People who feel wearing masks violate their personal freedoms should consider the right to stay alive.

Who will die in Deschutes County next? We all have responsibility in protecting our community members. If businesses are to remain open everyone needs to make-up and bring covid 19 cases down. Simple!

Masks keep a person's breath from infecting other people. This virus can kill people, or permanently damage their health. Wearing a mask shows you care about the health of other people.

It is THE ONLY WAY we can get rid of this and back to business and school. Being asked to wear a mask is in no way an infringement on your rights=BS. As a member of society we have responsibilities!

Wearing a mask is a small measure to ask to help protect our community and help ease the impact of the virus.

It's a matter of public safety. How hard is it to wear a mask?

It would help slow the virus greatly if everyone wore a mask.

People who do not wear mask could be giving other individuals the virus. If it can be traced to them I think they should be charged with manslaughter.

It's my body my choice, if I choose to jump from a plane why should anyone else have a say in it! If we enforce this then why not enforce racial ID bands on everyone's sleeve? We're going backwards :(

Brown has again overstepped her authority, shame that she pays no attention to the riots, violence and the mobs in Portland who are out on the streets with no masks and no social distancing.

More government overreach. I understand people are scared but it’s not a serious enough plandemic to justify any of this. Swine flu was much worse, SARS was exactly the same with slight differences.

Unless you are wearing an N95 and are fit tested to ensure it fits, you're wasting your time. This is all a control tactic. A fine for not wearing something that doesn't work is unamerican.

I'm not putting a mask on for no one I can't breath with them on I'm on a inhaler all the time and it's not a law so the city of bend can just kiss off and stuff it

Safe guards should only be enforced on those that present symptoms, not the healthy. Numskels politicians need to follow proper medical precautions that have been used and proven in health for decades

If they charge and fine protesters for refusing to social distance or wear masks . . . I might consider supporting this.
