Removing penalties for drug use increased crime and overdose deaths. Democrats have blood on their hands.

YES, it is a BIG problem! Lots of homeless addicts everywhere breaking into cars and homes, shoplifting and trashing the city. About time the Bend city council steps up and has them respect Bend residents and the law.

Too soft on crime and punishment! Drug laws in Oregon are too lenient! Homeless are allowed rights no other Oregonians are allowed. If you don’t believe that last sentence, try camping near Drake Park and see how long that lasts!

Well, I understand it is a much bigger problem on the East side of Bend, but I live in a relatively safe neighborhood, so I am not worried at this point.

Someone has to pay, Companies pass the cost to customers just to stay in business. It affects your insurance rates, food costs and housing. Drugs are the greatest reason for crime. Using drugs may not be a crime but drugs aren't free.

Hummel will be gone in a few months. Then he can move to Portland where he will fit in well with the woke crowd eager to participate in more social experiments.

Crime is on the upswing in Central Oregon. With increase in population with people moving here, you get the good, the bad and the ugly.

How best to find wasteful government spending than to go to the source of the payments. Musk isn’t going to stop or interfere with SS payments or any other social programs.

That system is our most secure data system and a non elected, or person who has not been properly vetted should not have access to such a sensitive system.

Things are already expensive, now Trump wants to increase that by 25%. How is that beneficial to anyone?
