I'm sure the most expensive hospital in the state can afford to pay a reasonable wage. Then work on quality of care.

People deserve fair wages and respect. Bend is getting more expensive and salaries are not keeping up with the times. The hospital would rather spend the money on travelers and let their own people suffer. Management doesn't care who or how this effects people. It's time to bargain SCMC!

They work, or are available to work 24/7 x 365. They work when they need time off because the patients care is so important to them

Every worker who has a union is entitled to collective bargaining. St. Charles is just stalling.

They're hospital workers during a PANDEMIC. Under such circumstances, they need to put patients first.

If they don't like their job, they can get another job somewhere else. We live in a free country where people that want to work and have a good work ethic have multiple job opportunities. If you don't like the company you work for, go find a company you want to work for. It's that easy!
