ILLEGALS need to cross LEGALLY. if they can't enter LEGALLY then don't cross at all. the parent(s) should be charged with child abuse/endangerment and then deported. death is NOT a free pass to USA.

They were crossing illegally. Who would put their child in danger like that. The US cannot take responsibility for people crossing illegally. They could have waited.

We have a legal way of entering the US, THIS SHOULD BE A WARNING TO ALL OF THE HAZARDS OF entering the US legally.

People trying to cross water, run across a freeway, cross a desert without enough water are responsible for what happens to themselves. Legal immigration is the safe way to come.

No, this doesn't 'change' my opinion of the crisis. My opinion is that it's a crisis, people are desparate and will break laws at all costs, take desperate measures to force change.
