Just like any change in leadership, there will be a change in ideas. I believe the deciding factor in maintaining a positive relationship with another country is willingness to work together.

Hello Rich, The question posed addressed whether a change in leadership would impact the current relationship between the United States and Canada. It did not inquire whether the next elected leader would be capable of “standing up” to President-Elect Trump.
