I like the candied sweet potatoes with marshmallows and brown sugar melted on top.

Not really. Its the dressing, gravy and rolls.
ReplyDelicious what else!?
ReplyMy son makes the best I have ever eaten!
ReplySo good!
ReplyIt's thick and creamy enough to satisfy my hunger but also can be a great side with any other meats for the holidays.
ReplyI never had it until my DIL entered the family. It's calorie laden but a great once a year treat! I love dressing too.
ReplyBecause YUM!
ReplyGreen bean casserole is one of my favorite holiday dishes, but unfortunately, my husband, step-son and father-in-law don’t care for it. Since my mother-in-law and I are outnumbered, the last 2 Thanksgivings (and Christmases) have included plain old boiled green beans. :(
ReplyI've had them every year since I started solid foods!
ReplyLove those crunchy onions!
ReplyIt's tradition and always goes well with turkey and dressing leftovers!
ReplyIn approximately 1965, Aunt brought this casserole to the holiday table. Someone has made it ever since. If because of great happy memories more than anything else.
