It shows friends and family that we were thinking about them on our journey. It also brings back memories of prior adventures.

I buy magnets with pictures of the places we visit. With many kids, grands & greats there are always photos, etc. to exhibit on our fridge.

Souvenirs are touchstones that transport me back to when and where and with whom I bought them. I encourage everyone to not only bring back souvenirs, but to display them around the house.

My "thing" is to grab a magnet for my fridge to remind myself that there is more than WORK in life.

YES! We love to travel and expecially to cruise. I love getting a magnet everywhere I go (I have a large board I put them on) sometimes a tshirt or sweatshirt, I love finding nativities from unique places that we go, and anything else that's native to the places we go.

The souvenirs have to be made in the country I'm visiting, something I can use or give as a gift, small enough to fit in my suitcase, and not too heavy.

Sometimes. Always when my daughter was little.
