There are too many great choices to settle on just one. Among my faves, "A Child's Christmas in Wales," "A Christmas Story," and "Arthur Christmas" is pretty cute.

when I retired I threw away every heel, every dress shoe and most of my work /dress clothes. now I dress for my comfort (11 years ago I'd have een on the otherside)

It shows friends and family that we were thinking about them on our journey. It also brings back memories of prior adventures.
ReplyI buy magnets with pictures of the places we visit. With many kids, grands & greats there are always photos, etc. to exhibit on our fridge.
ReplySouvenirs are touchstones that transport me back to when and where and with whom I bought them. I encourage everyone to not only bring back souvenirs, but to display them around the house.

ReplyYES! We love to travel and expecially to cruise. I love getting a magnet everywhere I go (I have a large board I put them on) sometimes a tshirt or sweatshirt, I love finding nativities from unique places that we go, and anything else that's native to the places we go.
ReplyThe souvenirs have to be made in the country I'm visiting, something I can use or give as a gift, small enough to fit in my suitcase, and not too heavy.
