The humidity makes the heat 100% worse. Even on a cool day it brings out the worst in people.

I have lived all over the country and stated where the humidity is higher are more difficult to get through the hat days than the ones where there is less Humidity.

People with COPD can't breath when humidity is high. If it's just hot and below twenty percent humidity, it's easier to breath

It can be humid in March, but ask folks suffering in the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere how they're doing with this summer's heat waves.
