Burgers allow for creativity. Hot dogs come as is and stay that way.

I was Team Hot dogs til I tried my first Angus burger and after that I was hooked. Add that with some sweet and sour pickles and sriracha mayo and we have a banging burger all the way!!!

There is a sweet spot when it has lost all traces of green but has not yet begun to turn brown.

I like them a bit on the firm side. When they get too ripe, it's banana bread time.

I try to find the greenest banana bunch to purchase because I know by tomorrow, they will be perfectly ripe and the following day they will start to get spots. I like to catch them just ripe but will make banana bread or muffins with the too ripe ones.
