Just won a car at a Church Christmas dinner through a free raffle. Only cost me $35.00 in title transfer. Take a car paid for over payments any day.
Reply ReplyI live on a small island, no need for any kind of fancy car. I will most likely stick to riding my bicycle everywhere!
Reply ReplyI always treat my car like a piece of junk. I need to be able to haul plants and potting soil. This is why we can't have nice things.
Reply ReplyNew or Used, it'll be a Honda again. I bought my last one new but don't know if I can afford to do that again.
Reply ReplyEconomically, it would be better. Also, I have my eye on a classic truck that I can make my own.
Reply ReplyI was blessed enough to purchase and own new cars all of the 40 years I've worked. Now since semi-retiring and not traveling as much plus watching my pennies, I don't need a new car, just a reliable one.
Reply ReplyBetter value. Will go for little used (1yr) or slightly used (5yr). Auto lose value rapidly in early years and today's cars last longer.
Reply ReplyI have always purchased used vehicles with low mileage...usually the previous year’s model. Keeps my car payment a little lower and I still end up with a nice car.

No issues from previous owners, you don't know what happened to the second hand car you are buying. WARRANTY is a big thing and besides, I AM worth the extra money.
Replyi take good care of my cars and get many years out of them.
Replyless maintenance
ReplyWhy buy someone elses junk
ReplyI buy my cars new and then keep them a long time
ReplyJust because I've never owned one before.
ReplyNew lasts longer.
Replyi do not care that it is more money cause used cars are not as nice
ReplyI don't have time to deal with the headache of maintenance.
ReplyYou get what you pay for. With a used car, the previous owner got rid of it for a reason.
Replybetter warranty, more reliable, less likely to have problems
ReplyNew car has a great smell to it
