I will not eat yellow squash or sweet potatoes or yams in any way, shape or form.

I have partial anosmia. Most veggies smell and taste like the smell of trash that's been sitting outside for a month in the summer sun. Been this way for most of my life and I'm almost 47.

Many bitter greens are just not to my taste. Cabbage and spinach are great, though!

Peppers, Bell peppers 🫑, chili peppers 🌶️, jalapeno peppers, pepperochine, pickled peppers Are all migraine triggers for me and I avoid them at all costs.

There is a sweet spot when it has lost all traces of green but has not yet begun to turn brown.

I like them a bit on the firm side. When they get too ripe, it's banana bread time.

I try to find the greenest banana bunch to purchase because I know by tomorrow, they will be perfectly ripe and the following day they will start to get spots. I like to catch them just ripe but will make banana bread or muffins with the too ripe ones.
