I'm not religious. I will go to a church for a wedding or a funeral, but religion is not part of my life.

Church people are hypocrites and are very judgmental. It's do as I say not do as I do.

I grew up with religion as a norm. Religions are very hypocritical. I go to weddings and funerals. I don't need a church or a priest to tell me how to worship GOD and Jesus Christ.

I'm a thoroughly rational person so church is somewhere I'd rather not be. But my mother is very elderly and very devout, so before COVID-19 I took to church her every week. Since then no church.

I enjoy the fellowship of a church home, and yes I know church is me, but I love study the word with others.
ReplyMy spiritual life is important. If I turn my life to my God. I have less worry.
Replywith the corona virus, it isn't possible. Otherwise i have a church I love to attend. I grow as a Christian and this strengthens my desire to live that everyday, not just on Sunday.
ReplyNot so much during COVID been doing church on ZOOM mostly.
ReplyI love it and would miss it. Sunday and mid-week.
ReplyLooking at our country and world does not suggest we are getting better, kinder, more selfless. Pride and self-interest permeate society.
ReplyCommunity experience, and it never hurts to have some time to reflect on the ways you think or do things. My church is non-creedal, non-judgemental, which is the only kind that would suit me.
ReplyIt is what keeps me joyful so why wouldn't I?
ReplyI find that repetitious participation in religious services keeps me strong in my Catholic faith and better able to weather the challenges of each new day.
