Our new house needed a lot of work when we moved in last soring. It still does. We do more to it as we raise the money and time. It isn't cook out ready, yet. No invites to others', either. Busy year with working, errands, and sleeping.

There is a sweet spot when it has lost all traces of green but has not yet begun to turn brown.

I like them a bit on the firm side. When they get too ripe, it's banana bread time.

I try to find the greenest banana bunch to purchase because I know by tomorrow, they will be perfectly ripe and the following day they will start to get spots. I like to catch them just ripe but will make banana bread or muffins with the too ripe ones.
