I was sad to miss my cousin's wedding but it was beyond my comprehension to spend $5k or more to fly my family to a foreign country for the weekend!

We went to our son's wedding in Nevada from the east, but I wouldn't call it a destination wedding.

Traveled to California for wedding of folks who lived there and went to Maine to babysit our grandson while his parents partied after a destination wedding, but that's it.

It was my own. We went to the courthouse, 400 miles from home and invited no one.
ReplyI attended a destination wedding in Las Vegas and my kids (who were also invited to the wedding) joined me and we had a blast. The wedding was fun and we enjoyed the sightseeing.
ReplyWe attended two destination weddings in the Bahamas and are attending one in Napa, CA, next week. We enjoy extending the trip to explore these other places.
