Because the work week starts on Monday. Sunday is the end of a weekend, not the start of something!

Sunday starts the week off with church services worshiping GOD, then the work week starts the following day. My boyfriend and I just had this discussion.

ReplyThe calendar week starts on Sunday. The work week starts on Monday. That's the socially accepted norm even if people don't work a Monday - Friday job.
