Sunday starts the week off with church services worshiping GOD, then the work week starts the following day. My boyfriend and I just had this discussion.

The calendar week starts on Sunday. The work week starts on Monday. That's the socially accepted norm even if people don't work a Monday - Friday job.

Because the work week starts on Monday. Sunday is the end of a weekend, not the start of something!

Bible says the 7th day was the sabbath. Most observe Sunday as the sabbath.

First day of the work week for most, so it seems like the first day of the week.

And I wish the calendars would change the way they present the days of the week.

Monday is the day I got back to work after a weekend off, so Monday it is after a hopefully restful weekend to have recharged my brain.

There is a sweet spot when it has lost all traces of green but has not yet begun to turn brown.

I like them a bit on the firm side. When they get too ripe, it's banana bread time.

I try to find the greenest banana bunch to purchase because I know by tomorrow, they will be perfectly ripe and the following day they will start to get spots. I like to catch them just ripe but will make banana bread or muffins with the too ripe ones.
