I said cash, but it's really a debit card. It's so much easier than carrying cash, and I have a better record of what I spent my money on. But I don't have a credit card bill to pay at the end of the month.

I use a debit card. I make large purchases using credit and then transfer from savings into cash account and pay in full right away. Credit score is 800.

To avoid the merchant having to pay the CC fees, I try to spend cash if it's less than $10. I wish the government would push the $2 bill and a $1 coin. I know they both have been pushed in the past - but I wish it would take off.

I use cash/debit for everyday puchases. I use credit for big ticket items, but have it paid off by the end of the month. That way get good credit and credit use rewards, but no interest.

Paying for items such as hay or horse shoeing or riding lessons is appreciated most using cash.

ATM debit card. I never liked carrying cash, risk of robbery. A card is easier, safer, cover the pin pad with other hand. I can quickly get a new card. But with so many cards it's thicker than cash. I do my on line purchases with PayPal,Amazon card,or other credit cards. I do some payments on my phone.

I prefer not to carry cash for safety reasons. The credit card is paid off every month. I use it the same way I would use cash. Also, you can’t lose it or have it stolen.

Especially in a pandemic, cash is dirty, and better left for the ATM.

EVERYTHING goes on credit cards & they are completely paid off 2-3 times a month. We have so many air miles we will give them away. (We're not flying with COVID around.)

I buy a lot on line. It's easier to keep track of my expenditures. I pay it off fully each month and I get cash back.

Especially now during the pandemic, 90% of my shopping is done online. Even when I buy something in person, I rarely have cash on hand.

I use credit cards everywhere I can, but pay them off every month. The cards I use are based on which company is offering bonus points for whatever I'm buying. Credit card bonus points are like free money.

I use my debit card but I think using cash would make more sense. Then I have a better idea of what I am spending. It's to easy just to use the card and never think about it. Dave Ramsey's plan makes more sense.

Cash is so 20th century! The important thing is to pay off the credit card bill completely every month.

I get a cash rebate on my credit card purchases. Unless it's under a dollar, I literally charge everything. (Of course I pay the card off completely at the end of every month, too.)

It is safer to use plastic since there is less contact. I don't have to worry about having enough cash or going to the ATM. The bill is automatically paid from my checking account once a month and I have a record of my purchases.
