Replied "They will pay more eventually. The state can't afford to keep losing revenue. Our infrastructure and schools are garbage, farmers are struggling, and crime in metro areas is out of hand. 1% will do nothing. 1% of 300 is 3 dollars, that won't even buy you a soda anymore. Fix our state instead!"

Commented "Cutting taxes does not help the poor, especially 1%. It will cost the state lost revenue that they will make up through sales taxes elsewhere. The only winners are the grocery store owners, because 1% off millions in profit is a big amount. But 1% off a 2-300 grocery bill is 2 or 3 dollars, nothing."
