I would love to see the entertainment district approved. The Capitol District will be more enjoyable for locals and tourists when they can openly carry alcoholic beverages.

I don't think establishing an entertainment district is necessary. A permit allowing people to openly carry alcohol within the district, is a problem waiting to happen.

I can see how the City of Omaha would be partially at fault. Proactive thinking on behalf of the City could have prevented the hazardous conditions that caused the fire.
