Haven't in many years, husband at time was a real jerk that time of year. It doesnt mean anything to me anymore & stores make too big a deal about it, just to make money.

It’s the same logic as alcohol. You can enjoy drinks and still own guns. But you should never handle a firearm while intoxicated!
