I get the health concern but this is inching ever so close to violating someone's free will. Controlling one another is not the answer.

I truly hate nanny state laws, So if want to let your kids get sick and die, fine. But they cant go to public schools till they have their shots

Yes, officials DO have the right to make such decisions when it affects the whole community. Those parents who don't vaccinate their kids are ignorant and their kids should not attend public schools.
The only exemption should be for a Dr. diagnosed allergy... period!

ReplyNews reports have shown that families are requesting exemptions for reasons totally unrelated to vaccines. I can't believe in this day and time that we are even debating the need for vaccinations!
ReplyIf parents don't want to vaccinate their kids, they should not be allowed to attend public OR private schools!
