If they are for notifications about the road or traffic... not for ads or other superfluous reasons.

Not really a need for them anymore with all of the online services (Waze, Google Maps, Oregon Tripcheck, etc.)

It makes sense! Communities benefit from timber harvesting. No one benefits when the forest burns.
