The downtown Bend substation is a great start - the more police presence around the city, not just in cars, the safer everyone will be!

It will increase the presence of the PD downtown and have a BIG ROI for doing it. There are many positive things that will be the result of a local 'sub-station'.

Bend police can be anywhere they need in minutes, by patrol car, by bikes on foot - paying rent for a spot to fill out reports isn't needed.
