Our natural landscape and attractions, like the Deschutes River, Tumalo Falls, and Mt. Bachelor, are all negatively effected over time by an increase in tourism. Plus, more people in town means more waste! Our population's increasing, which means tourists don't carry the weight they used to. Show Less

Tourism has been way over-sold. I hear folks who have lived here a long time say they are leaving due to increased traffic, etc. Coming from a metro area, the traffic is nothing to me, but I get it!

This use to be a nice, comfortable community and now it is full of people that have not respect for other people. They drive like crazy and do not watch out for bicycles or pedestrians.

Absolutely, do not do this. It's ridiculous if you want to slow people down. Put in speed bumps but do not impede traffic and it looks disgusting. It looks stupid. You've already ruined enough streets in this town for bicyclers no more. Do no more use speed bumps if you want to slow people down
