I no longer go downtown to shop because parking has been too difficult for me to find without walking several blocks to the store I want to go to.

Never any parking.........ever! I don't spend my money there anymore and neither do a vast number of my friends and acquaintances. Shopping needs to be enjoyable.......not there for quite sometime.

I have lived in Bend for over 50 years and until this summer have totally supported the down town business. Now I go to the shopping centers and also use Amazon. I don't like this but have no choice until downtown business forces the city to find an answer to this. Maybe downtown should be for the

I'm disabled, so parking in the public garage is too far for me to walk sometimes with my heart condition. More disabled parking would be nice downtown by the store fronts.

Seriously, this shouldn't even be an concern in the 4th largest city in the state. We have bicycles and transit for a reason. Parking is irrelevant for those of us who ride buses or bikes. If you want lots of free parking and car dependency, please move to Burns or to John Day. It's 2021, not 1961.

I avoid going to Bend as much as possible. I don't like anything about being in any big city. As for parking there, I only go to medical facilities and sometimes the Northside malls, so parking is generally not an issue. Driving in Bend is much worse than finding parking in Bend.

The only time I have trouble finding a parking spot is when someone without disabled plates or a hanger decides to park in a disabled zone.

No, I never have trouble finding parking in downtown Bend because I never go to downtown Bend.

The federal budget deficit would be EASILY diminished if the Rs in Congress would vote to make the tax system fairer by making the top richest pay their fair share. But they won't. They'd rather take from the poor+ middle class and sale public lands vs. doing the obvious and fairest remedy!!

It is a shameful idea. These lands belong to all of us, and are not for sale.

Hey, If Mike Lee wants to sell Utah's public lands, see how his constituents like it with theirs. Stay away from Oregon and the other states who don't like it. If Trump wants his big ugly bill to pass, reimburse the government for what the taxpayers pay for his golfing at his resorts + his parade.

This would be a crime and one that is irreversible. If Trump needed the money so bad, maybe he shouldn’t have spent our hard-earned tax money on his birthday parade. I am a public land owner and I oppose this proposition. How dare Mike Lee try pulling off this crap on us. We’re not stupid.

Public lands are our heritage due to the foresight of great individuals. Only those interested in profiteering propose and support the rape of Oregon and public properties.
