Especially produce.

I have literally gone hungry so my children would have enough food. My children Never went without food.

Not recently but when I was younger and earned less.

Even when budgets are tight, I've managed to prioritize food. Luckily, I haven't had to skip any meals for lack of cash.

NEVER as an adult where I had control of my finances. And yes there have been times where I have gone for 6 months or a year with out a pay check.
