My generation survived mumps, chicken pox, measles, scarlet fever, polio, small pox and other diseases. Some killed or maimed for life. Life has always been full of dangers and we are stronger for it. Don't suffocate our young let them be free.

Hey, some kids always drown every year anyway, so why should we bother with arm floats?

She is 17 and is capable of deciding for herself. She chooses no because of her asthma.

Kids don't need to wear masks they are less affected by this, in fact no one should wear masks it has been linked to pnomonia

It's all about control at this point. Remember the Democrat memo "Never let a good crisis go to waste". Home school and protect your kids from the brain washing in public school.

My childrens health and wellness should be based on my decisions not the governments. I'm not sending her to school if they want to mask them up. Our governor has overstepped her authority in our lives again and again.

My kids will not be wearing face diapers. we are looking at homeschooling so they can actually get a proper education while breathing fresh air.

Actually, my kids are already homeschooled. Public schools have failed on many levels.

It's child abuse to make kids wear masks. They are the LEAST susceptible.

I'm homeschooling. My daughter has asthma and they made her wear a mask while outside running around. She had more asthma attacks last year than any other year. Masks and vaccines should be a personal choice. Not a mandate.

This is a rapidly mutating virus. Why give it a chance to continue to spread and transform into even more transmissible and deadly variants. We need to stop taking half measures on an inconsistent basis and act to once and for all vanquish this pandemic.

Why? Because 1) the virus is not significantly dangerous to kids at all. 2) there is no scientific study or statistics that show unmasked kids in schools lead to higher community infection rates. 3) masks, for many, trigger migraines, staph infections, acne, etc. 4) masks obliterate socializing

Masks cause pnomonia and kids are less affected by this so they don't need to wear masks in fact no one should wear masks

Is someone who lets their pet off-leash in restricted areas considered a 'bad pet owner?'

Even a friendly dog with excellent recall can cause real problems for the owner walking their reactive dog on leash; a dog running free is highly exciting to other dogs; it's not fair for the owner of the reactive dog to have to deal with that overstimulation in a "leash only" area.

I recently I commented that it is not fair. But your comment makes me feel incorrect. I have had a reactive dog before and I feel that your comment is valid.

BECAUSE most dog owners that do this have zero respect for others or property.. NEVER pick up poop and feel entitled

There are leash laws for good reason. On a side note Bend Parks and Recreation need to put up signs at dog parks reminding owners that they are liable for damages their dogs cause to other dogs or humans under Oregon law. Bend PD treat dog parks like they are outside of their jurisdiction.

A bad dog owner is someone who is not able to care of the animal or mistreats the animal. The person is just not considerate of others and will break the law for whatever reason they may have. *if you have an aggressive dog it is the OWNERS responsibility to keep the dog under control anywhere

There are many factors, if your dog has great recall and obeys to stay in a heal being off leash is fine as the dog is still in verbal control. Dogs that do not listen should not be off leash.

Maybe there pet is trusted and not reactive. Why does a none relative happy pet need to be restricted?

BV is not a good quality restaurant for the cost. Have never liked them and always like Del Taco.
