I have been hearing about this since the 90's when I lived on a house boat in Portland. It will happen, I just hope it is in the future not now. It is going to be one the biggest ones ever.

To add, people who don't think this will happen, haven't lived on the west coast. I have been in several and they aren't something you take lightly.

Soon is a relative term but the probability is high enough to be concerned and to be prepared. My biggest concern is for my friends on the west side of the Cascades.

No faults to worry us, no volcanic activity to cons=cern us, no fracking. Not to worry.

I'm in the process.the city of bend will not allow a second water meter on any city property. They are only allowing me to tap into my existing water line. I have to dig up my entire driveway. The added cost is $15k dollars. If they allow a second meter it would only cost 2k. Please help
