The only positive is for the ultra-wealthy people and large corporations. There are no benefits for the average American taxpayers. It will cause more inflation. That means even higher prices for groceries and other goods.

I prefer to ban plastic bags but, I have seen the nasty, dirty, filthy, stained cloth bags many customers bring to the store for the cashiers to put groceries in. They are gross. Bring a clean bag.
ReplyBad for creatures & environment. Usually you have to double bag items because the bag material is cheap, double whammy. Paper is friendly to all. It decays & goes back where it came from.

ReplyUsing the plastic bags is basically lazy. There are plenty of options out there if we would use them. Obviously, people are too lazy, also, to recycle properly.
