I prefer to ban plastic bags but, I have seen the nasty, dirty, filthy, stained cloth bags many customers bring to the store for the cashiers to put groceries in. They are gross. Bring a clean bag.

Bad for creatures & environment. Usually you have to double bag items because the bag material is cheap, double whammy. Paper is friendly to all. It decays & goes back where it came from.

Let's keep the plastic trash island to a minimum, right?

Using the plastic bags is basically lazy. There are plenty of options out there if we would use them. Obviously, people are too lazy, also, to recycle properly.

do you know that 89% of the plastic trash found in the ocean is from Asia country's.. We do a really good job of dealing with our trash in a responsible way. Also we have learned to not littler.

Plastic bags are bad for the environment, and not great for hauling a lot of groceries. I prefer paper or reusable..

Too much plastic ends up in the oceans and rivers and wildlife is killed due to it. Less trash to use reusable bags. I have been using my own bags for years as CA charges you

Parking and city revenue out weigh the small gain in revenue the business say they receive.

Simply, they're unfair to other businesses. Each space represents potential income for one or multiple businesses. If parklettes are to remain, businesses should file an application per space with an associated annual fee, subject to increase rent cost/year. They cause more problems than they solve.

Since nobody sits outside in the cold of winter, why not remove all the outdoor eating areas at least in the winter??

Nobody is sitting outside in the winter months and Street dining should be limited May - October months. Also what is not needed is 4 season dining in these structures (walls. Heaters, etc) when restaurants have room inside. If eateries don't have room inside, shouldn't be taking public space

A few circles around the area, I always find a spot. It’s not any different than any other city. I like seeing people enjoying the outdoors. That’s why we live here.
