It is unfortunate this has to happen, but hopefully this is the worst that happens in their lives. They are alive, they still have a future. It is sad that they have to miss some of the milestones in

Invite only immediate family (parents & siblings) and graduates and have the ceremony as normal. Let's have some common sense again.

They should do a “car” parade for the seniors. Decorate their car’s and their family can be in the car too. Then the principal can give them their diplomas. This will give them something memorable.

Exactly! This awful man should never be allowed to own animals for the rest of his life! Once an abuser, always an abuser. No matter that he is a vet. It doesn't excuse this abusive behavior, especially over tiny dogs!

I don't think he should get his dogs back until a psych eval is done and he's deemed ok to own an animal. I also think that your reporter's continued hounding of him for an interview after he clearly declined was appropriate or professional.

Maybe suspend the teaching license during the investigation so they can't teach temporarily. Then, if they're convicted, the license the teaching license should be revoked.

Suspend the license during the pendency of the case. Renew it if found not guilty; permanently suspend it if found guilty.
