The city can spent millions on people who never lived in Bend but get everything for free and they leave piles of trash everywhere they go. Then the city says they don't have any money to fix streets where taxpayers live Something wrong with this picture

More homeless equals more trash. Pretty simple equation. Thanks City Council

The bums are camping in or near the canal by Brookswood. COID is good about expelling them quickly but the trash blows all over the place. People used to walk this trail all the time. Now I see the vagrants smoking crack/meth. My neighborhood that borders this is full of families.

Exactly! This awful man should never be allowed to own animals for the rest of his life! Once an abuser, always an abuser. No matter that he is a vet. It doesn't excuse this abusive behavior, especially over tiny dogs!

I don't think he should get his dogs back until a psych eval is done and he's deemed ok to own an animal. I also think that your reporter's continued hounding of him for an interview after he clearly declined was appropriate or professional.

Maybe suspend the teaching license during the investigation so they can't teach temporarily. Then, if they're convicted, the license the teaching license should be revoked.

Suspend the license during the pendency of the case. Renew it if found not guilty; permanently suspend it if found guilty.
