It represents the heart of Sisters that has always been a western town with logging , cows and horses . we also have one of the most popular rodeos on the west coast Sisters Rodeo !

It’s befitting of our culture, our way of life. The Sisters Rodeo has made this town prosper..There is no “danger” putting this on the round about, that’s a silly reason to not want it there.

I live in Bend where we have many roundabouts, where we have various artwork, and I've not seen a situation where I feel drivers were distracted, even in our high traffic roundabouts. In my opinion that's a red herring. I think the statue would be an asset to Sisters promoting its history.

It’s a significant piece of History. Prineville has a statue and it IS STILL STANDING!

It's bs I don't own an isolated ranch, I live in a neighborhood. We water our lawns.
ReplyPublic land needs to have logging/thinning/brush management and close dispersed camping within 10 miles of Sisters/Bend, especially during summer months.
ReplyFirst of all, that agent you had on was an absolute uninformed idiot. Where is the compassion. Weather the storm. What storm. It’s because the insurance companies are having to pay out after collecting billions of dollars. Boo Hoo, now we must pay. There is no fire here,
