Longer-term is OK, but short-term ones bring down property values. And short-terms ones seem to attract the loud party types. They ruin it for all.

The fact my neighbor's house has been a rotating party home for the last 5 months with different groups from out of the area back to back to back is absurd and insanely dangerous.

Eliminating short-term vacation rentals will crash the housing market. Palm Springs is already facing a sinking economy. Just enforce the rules in place. Our only true industry is tourism.

Rotating minimizes the possibility of corruption which our city has experienced, its ashame that mayor walked away with nothing more than probation. lets not let it happen again.

I have always thought voting a mayor is better than the rotation of a mayor. With the rotation, the mayor becomes only a spokesperson for the council The voters should elect based on the agenda of the mayor And it allows for consistency with staff.
