YES. The system has been working just fine for several years now. Avoid any lawsuits and keep it this way.

I have always thought voting a mayor is better than the rotation of a mayor. With the rotation, the mayor becomes only a spokesperson for the council The voters should elect based on the agenda of the mayor And it allows for consistency with staff.

Mayors should be elected. The whole rotating mayor debacle has been embarrassing for our city.

One person can be directly responsible for implementing their agenda and keep it on track instead of having to rotate every year.

At this point we need herd immunity. It will only happen when limits are put in place.
ReplyAt some point we have to get to herd immunity like we did with polio and smallpox.
