I have always thought voting a mayor is better than the rotation of a mayor. With the rotation, the mayor becomes only a spokesperson for the council The voters should elect based on the agenda of the mayor And it allows for consistency with staff.

Mayors should be elected. The whole rotating mayor debacle has been embarrassing for our city.

One person can be directly responsible for implementing their agenda and keep it on track instead of having to rotate every year.

It's never gonna happen no matter how much the people want it or need it. As I have said many times "This state is run just like a casino.If there is a way to separate you from your money this state has it figured out and in the fastest possible way".
