Kansas City Lack Density, and our taxes are very low in comparison to other cities with our geographic size. It's ridiculous to expect world class infrastructure and services without paying for them

The city would undoubtedly waste this money, much as they have given what they already bring in through TIF's and other giveaways. When the city proves it can take care of city business FIRST, then consider business/development schemes, I'll reconsider. But for now, no more money.

Watching Shannon on Ruckus &he seemingly completely innocently askd what I thought was a singularly stupid question tht its possible he was bing facetious but I doubt. Th question he asked in the context of Kansas tax stupidity was "Don't tax cuts work elsewhere?" NO THEY DONT! WHY DONT U KNOW THAT?

Pendulum theory plus faith, I guess. I can't bring myself to visualize the country without a strong working press and tend to think that a combination of self-reflection and outside examination will make it self-correcting. Ask me again on Nov 9th, assuming we don't have another debacle like 2000.
