Nebraska's defense has been trending up and our front line will do their job allowing the LBs and secondary to step up.

I think Nebraska's run defense is much better this year. I worry about the pass defense.

Far too many "analysts" under-estimate NU's defense. ANY team can be beaten on any day.

they'd better! I think Nebraska has the edge in the passing Game and Special Teams. depending on Ameer's condition I'd say we're even in the running game. As far as Defense...DB's and Safety's we've got the edge. Backers and D Line Need to come in there with an Attitude! Hit the Badgers Hard and make them Hurt with that cold weather. GBR!

This time around as opposed to 2012 we are light years ahead in team speed enough that if they are stupid enough to try that sweep again? everytime they try it, it will result in loss of yardage. Wiscy is slow as hell as a team. Wiscy is not fast enough to beat us on the edge or anywhere on the field period

I love my Huskers and truly hope they bring their A Game and win. With that said, they've made it real clear, the last couple of years, that when on the big stage, they can't quite measure up and usually lose in embarrassing fashion. I fear Saturday will be no different. Still hoping they'll win though. GBR!!!

Same thing for the 7th season and every "big game". Nothing willl change the fans and media's perception until a Bo Pelini coached team proves it on the field. Nothing this year has demonstrated anything has changed. Nebraska's best doesn't show up week after week and there is no sign of consistent improvement. Take Ohio State as an example, they have improved significantly thru this season while Nebraska has been the same for 7 seasons. Isn't that at some level coaching? Where is the accountability of the coaches to demonstrate an ability to take this team to a higher level?

Recent history has proven that Nebraska doesn't perform well under the bright lights against the big boys. Until they prove me wrong, I'll continue to be pessimistic about their chances in big games.

even in the loss to Northwestern Gordon managed over 250 yards on the ground. We won'st stop their run. But if we can keep the out of the end zone and limit big plays through the air it won't matter.

I vote no, because I want to be proven wrong

I feel it ease worries a LITTLE bit. I think he has already talked to his friend Pat, AD at Penn State, and was told that Penn State Alumni want someone more proven than Rhule. So, Rhule is way down the list.

No, it means nothing, he is gone or he woulda squashed it and said he was taking his name out of consideration and he didn’t.

Memorial Stadium is one of the greatest venues in sports. Why shouldn't the folks in Lincoln, Omaha, and all of Nebraska get the opportunity to be entertained by any show worthy of a stadium sized audience? So much CHA-CHING!
