Probably hiring Pederson was the biggest mistake.

Bo Pelini lit a fire under the defense in his first year as DC. Nebraska would have been awesome the next year. I would have loved to have seen that.

We don't know what would have happened, but it could not have been any worse. We have been foundering since his firing. Scott Frost has a big job in pulling us out of the muck. He'll get it done.

Frank knows Nebraska football inside and out Peterson was an idiot and should’ve kept Frank. Peterson never should have been hired at Nebraska He was a total and complete idiot

Firing Frank got us away from our roots and our identity. O & D schemes change but an identity shouldn't. SF is trying to bring it back now after all these years.

Pederson was one of two arrogant Husker ADs trying to make a name for himself. Moral: Don't fire 9 win coaches.

Callahan dismantled everything that made Nebraska, Nebraska. And almost 20 years later, we are just starting to get back what was lost...

HIRING Solich was the big mistake. He was over-matched. IMO, Tom Osborne shares a lot of blame for forcing Solich on the AD rather than having a national search. In 1997, NU could have had their pick of outstanding HC's. Now look at us.

It was bad... but not as bad as hiring Callahan. I dont know if Solich would have ever gotten over the hump... but Callahan sure as hell wasnt.

The alignment of administration to restoring order of Nebraska now in the BIG is incredible. This choice of a young, competent outsider is consistent with the vision. The Nebraska magic will have him only vacationing in Florida. Get behind him, Huskers.

Honestly it will take time, when you are used to someone like Greg Sharpe it will take time and assessment before you can accept another voice, especially someone outside the Husker Nation circle which can be hard to accept anyway. But if someone puts their all into it then over time can work.
