They are pretty subjective with little data taken into account....how could they be anything other than an opinion.

Its a popularity poll. Several years ago there was a team completely off of the radar, and they some how made the top ten. Nope, it;s just something to write about and sell.

You play the game to see who wins. Polls are a hideous, unproven, and out dated method to determine anything. You bring your players, I'll bring mine. The win on the field is what counts, not someone's opinion, especially the opinions of sports writers and TV commentators. Need a 16 team playoff

If I want to see a carnival or a faire I'll go see one. This change shows fear of being a competitor on the part of Rhule and NU Athletics. It's embarrassing.
