OU is susceptible to the long passing game. NU pulls out some stops on offense. D keeps it close. OU by 3.

Spencer is a guy who’s easily rattled (get it?) and figures to throw a few picks if pressured. I still think we lose but Huskers can move the ball through the air and force a few TOs to keep this game within 14. Small chance they even pull out the W

I watched the Tulane game and I think Buffalo is a good team that the D shutdown. Plus I went to school in the 90’s and want us so badly to step up on National tv. We are due!! Skers

Sooner's lose one game mid-season. Why not this one. Hopefully no one showed the Sooner team what Frost and company did to them in '96 and '97. We should play well for 3 quarters then their top guys may take over.

It's likely at some point in the game we'll be down a score or two. Does this team have the mental toughness to fight and mount a comeback or will they fold? I just don't think the team has that kind of confidence in themselves yet.

I can’t believe Nebraska fans have fallen so far that they discuss if they can’t beat the spread and not if they can beat OU.

they have talent everywhere. We have a tiny bit of talent. It's a talent landslide.

No way! IL lost big to an unrated Virginia team. Sooners will do whatever they want to do regarding score. Tired of us ‘rebuilding’ when we can’t beat teams that out recruit us every year. Don’t those teams have to rebuild? Simply put we are either terrible recruiters or terrible developers.

Big REd is playing well below the Sooner's level. I just hope they can keep it at the 21 points and not get buried in a ten td avalanche.

They are still playing pretty bad. Offensive line is still not blowing anyone off the ball. Defense is still not getting a pass rush. Secondary is not as good as advertised. Hopefully there will be improvement.

We are not there yet. We put too much pressure on an improving defense. If NU could some how score 40 they might have a chance at the end of the game but....I'll call it 48-27 OU.

Glad to see an acknowledgement that the O wasn't working. This shows some urgency about winning which I appreciate.

Seems pretty obvious that when something is not working very well and you don’t know how to fix it you bring in outside experts for advise. Common practice.

Holgerson has enough experience that he should be able to watch some film and the players in practice and call plays that play to their strengths. I'm betting he is also smart enough to stick with what's working until the other team stops it, and to develop some offensive rhythm.

Anything is better than Satterfield. But I don't know why we didn't go after the US Army's OC who only makes $190k and absolutely knows how to run the ball.

Because Army's OC can call the triple option and run the ball, but he probably doesn't know how to call for a pro-style quarterback. Plus it is very unlikely that Army's OC is going to jump ship right now the way their season is going. Maybe gets a look after the season if Holgerson doesn't stay.

Installing a whole new offense would be very difficult. You might be able to refine a small portion but learning the timing and terminology would be difficult.

I doubt that this late in the season this change will help. I hope it does but i have no faith left. The O-line is just horrible.

Good thing we played buffs early. They have improved throughout the season and have been rated most of year. They are moving forward while we are retreating.

My heart says yes, but my head says no. Are they capable? Absolutely, but we haven't seen enough consistency in any of the 3 phases of the game to warrant any confidence that we can win one of the last three games.

Why don't we recruit the Army's offensive coordinator who really know how to develop a running game? And he only makes $190,000 per year.

They have to fight for it. I will be honest and say it depends on which NU team shows up and that’s why I think it’s going to be tough. They could either win the last 3 games but they could also lose the last 3 games.

Nope...hate to say it but we need a dual threat at QB. It was worth the try, but DR is better off served playing for a program that best suits his drop back talent and at this point in time it's not here. We will drop all three and maybe giving Lincoln Riley two weeks to plan...it's not good !

I am not hopeful that this team will win another game this year. Just about every phase of the game is sub par. We have clearly regressed as the season has unfolded. Don't forget how much Jeff Simms was hyped last year; how did that turn out. I don't have confidence in the coaching staff.
