Never had a big budget for holidays or birthdays. We have too much stuff already so we concentrate on time together and a few useful thoughtful gifts, often hand-made.

On Christmas, my kids often just ask me for meaningful advice. They are in their fifties, and they have learned enough to know, that they can always learn more. We still give each other the benefits of our skills that we have acquired over the years. These gifts are priceless, and they last forever.

Nope, doing steak and lobster this year so its going to be quite a bit more.

Nothing is ever going back to what it once was. You will continue to fall. You only have your contentment now.
