Just the scope of the game from a National perspective makes this a bigger game in my mind.

Notre Dme is always viewed as a National Power and Blue Blood program. Ucla is regional and most oftern an underachieving program. We need to Beat ND every year on a national stage.

I know that ND has a better program, but the daily interaction with ucla fans makes this a daily reminder that ucla fans are losers.
