Columbia was compliant with the rule before this procedural change, and it has, historically, had very low levels of the contaminants covered by this rule. The city and the DNR have been transparent and there's no need to imagine conspiracies.

Nobody said anything about transparency or conspiracy. It is just sloppy, not to be monitoring for lead contamination. Copper is not a threat, we use copper pipes and brass fixtures in many homes and businesses.
