Why don't the lawmakers get some BALLS and pass a bill that if someone is caught driving any vehicle with expired tags or no registration (temp or regular plates) that the vehicle will automatically be towed, That driver gets a fine of at least $2500.00 and be taken to jail for at least 3 days.

Something also needs to be done about the existing expired temp tags and expired license plates that are running rampant in Jefferson City. Why aren't the JCPD ticketing these vehicles, following up with towing/impounding the vehicles after the ticket is written. Springfield has started doing this.

It must have taken KMIZ some time to find the one car dealer to say the sales tax, that you have to pay regardless, will affect someone's 'purchasing power'. The car's price affects your purchasing power, not the tax.

The people give the government about $5 Trillion to run the government. The Govt spends around $7 Trillion...we can't continue down that path...

We need indivual funding bills. No more omnibus bills. Way too much gets hidden.

Musk wants to run America like a free market business. Only hire competent/qualified people, accountability, etc. Unfortunately, that means all the incompetent people have no where to go. Liberals/socialists/democrats at least know its best to keep those people busy with govt jobs.

The main goal of this bill ... as well as the gutting of government departments ... is to somehow justify the extension of tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.

Too much spending added to deficit and cuts to Medicaid will hurt Missouri

I am hopeful the Senate will fine tune the Bill. I do feel with maintaining the tax cuts growth will help with the deficit. I agree with EM that if we do not address it then no one will have Security in the future.

Because Elon is always wrong according to MSM. So he is obviously wrong about this.

I think Musk is a con-man, a billionaire drug addicted con-man, but at least he's not in the parade of 'yes men' that follow Trump around. Musk disagreed publicly, gotta give the guy credit for that.

I' an animal lover, but this is just another plea to people's hearts to take their $$ and use it for whatever purpose. If the county/city were to vote to raise the gas/alcohol/cigarette tax in order that everyone shares in the pain - and not just property owners - I would vote for such a tax!
