This is so F***ed up. What kind of example are you showing our community Judge Haws? It's okay to go out and shoot someone, almost killing them, and get this sentence. smfh that's why the crime in our city is getting worse because criminals are getting slaps on the wrist. No justice for the victims.

A number of police calls are the result of an individual not being able cope with their circumstances in an acceptable manner. Having a mental health worker along could not only help the individual, but prevent the police from being put in a position that may require serious force. Good for everyone

Then we have to hire Mental Health Workers to deal with the Mental Health Workers who go on the calls and have to deal with what LEO sees on a daily basis. In addition to the liability and safety concerns they bring by being "nice" to thugs and criminals.
