I rewatched this scene many times over. Sorry to say, that is not the case with any of the sequel trilogy movies.

Exactly. People can say what they want. But I have a whole series of reactions where I show my best friend Star Wars for the 1st time. Mando finale with awesome like has over 12k views. Sequel trilogy is only in the hundreds. Filoni and Favreau get it.

Sometimes a new bold vision is what is needed; but in this case I believe RCJ's portrayal of Luke was disrespectful to Lucas, the character, and the fans. The Luke we saw in Mando was the Luke we have been wanting to see for 40 years.

Between these beloved episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, which is the greatest?

The ending totally gets me. All our experiences and relationships, and the emotion that comes along with that. It's all real.

Yes, if most of the cast would come back

No, they should leave it alone

Because the world is fascinating and there's some real possibilities for expansion there. They could easily use his "bible" but take it in their own direction.

Just because the original creator is gone doesn't mean something good can't come out of it. If it's good enough for the entire cast to come back even without wheadon I'd say give it a chance

It seems irrelevant. The cast is too old for their characters, the story is being told in books, comics, and other supplemental material.

I'm not exactly throwing parades for any decades later reboots.

Even if there was no controversy around Whedon, the ship has sailed.

I feel like it would be missing the magic without J.W.

And if they couldn't get the O.G. cast back it would not be great.
