Remember the scene where Will Smith flies his plane through the canyon?

I have a lot more fun watching Independence Day. As a Canadian even I can’t help but root for America to kick ass at the end when the president gives his speech. Mars Attacks has always come across like more of a modern Tim Burton film to me. It’s all style and the rest just doesn’t matter.

Independence Day is cheesy and entertaining, I think Mars Attacks is a bit too cynical

The Batman because I like how he goes through an arc from focusing on vengeance to being a symbol of hope. It shows the contrast to what batman was like in his early days and what he'll become. In Begins after he returns to Gotham he knows what he wants to achieve and doesn't change from that

Batman Begins is more of an origin story. I like more of Batman’s early days, but not, like, his first day ever. And I think this movie is less boring. It’s my favorite Batman movie ever.

The Batman is new, and cool, but Batman Begins is definitive.

I think this movie moreso had an engaging personality for Bruce & a engaging interesting look (even if I feel like later movies didn't have it look as engaging) world around him. I feel like almost all the characters work more in this movie than The Batman.

They have their issues but they have done good stuff like being well produced with good visuals and cinematography than the movies and fleshing out characters who only had supporting roles in the films . I think they'll get better in the future once marvel starts getting the hang of it.

WandaVision - was really interesting and trippy || FaWS - asked some very important questions || Loki - clever and creative || Hawkeye - Fun and cool || What If - all of the above depending on episode. Overall I love it.

The D+ shows are some of the best superhero content ever made.

Love them Loki and WandaVision were some of the most experimental and fantastic TV shows out there, Falcon was smart and really important, Hawkeye was fun and What If was both hilarious and really sad.

There’s a formula at play in these Disney+ shows, but it’s apparent Feige and co. aren’t as experienced with TV as they are with film. These feel like films that have been extended and awkwardly restructured for the TV miniseries format. They also feel disposable which betrays their “big” nature.

I think on the whole I've been more let down by the marvel shows than I have enjoyed them, and I don't think any have managed to stick the landing so far. At least, of the ones I've seen - I couldn't sit through all of What If? and we aren't done with Moon Knight yet. Hoping the last proves me wrong

WandaVision is okay, but net positive. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is terrible. Loki is not much better. Hawkeye is fine but middling. They have not given us a reason to be excited.
