Remember the scene where Will Smith flies his plane through the canyon?

I have a lot more fun watching Independence Day. As a Canadian even I can’t help but root for America to kick ass at the end when the president gives his speech. Mars Attacks has always come across like more of a modern Tim Burton film to me. It’s all style and the rest just doesn’t matter.

Independence Day is cheesy and entertaining, I think Mars Attacks is a bit too cynical
