Oh yes. We have been taking the mail to the post office and mailing it there if there is a time constraint. The Spokesman almost always arrives several days late. It's a good thing I can read it online or check the grocery website for the sales.

I live in Redmond and our nail has been terrible for months. I received a newspaper 1 week late yesterday. Our mail never comes at the same time any more. Even skipping some days. NW Larch Ave.

I used to have the best service. Now it's like they don't care. You fill out paperwork fora package to be delivered to your home, not the mailbox but they still squeeze package so tightly in box due to size that it's a struggle to get out. I've complained. Their answer... "be lucky you get your mail

ALSO. when their tracker says they delivered and you still have not seen it, I actually receive it 1-2 days later. Mail carrier "lies" about delivery. Head of Prineville post office takes carrier's side, not mine!

Only delays have been due to natural disasters here and in other states. It's a tough job and mostly done well.

Think about it: Name any other option where you have a piece of paper (bill, letter), you put it inside more paper (envelope), you pay 66¢ and someone will carry that from New York City to Portland in a matter of days and deliver to the addressee. For 66¢.

Why would it close. They shouldn’t close just because an old president died. So they will inconvenience everyone just to get a day off of work.

At this moment in our country there’s a general lack of respect and civility. It’s time to bring them back. Closing the post office for a presidential funeral is a start in the right direction.

As a Country we do honor our Former Presidents on the passing with a national day of mourning. Its tradition and it doesn't happen very often

Regardless of income, people should get back what they paid in, with interest.

Why should ambition, and success be penalized?

Tax all of the income earned when paying in, but no income tax on the money paid back to retired people.

Social security money was collected as a tax, now some politicians want to tax you, when you take back, what you were forced to pay into. How about only giving Social Security to those who paid into it? End the Fraudulent payments.
