I doubt that he cares anything about the border and this is a squander of time and taxpayer money. Some people view this as political grandstanding and part of his bid to be the next VP candidate.

Paid leave is good for families and employers--it helps attract and retain the best talent, reducing employee turnover costs, and helps alleviate financial strain on families. It's a win-win.

Paid sick leave is needed for all workers. How can you pay medical bills if you aren't getting paid while you are sick or recovering from surgery?
